The intention of our breeding program is to offer dogs who will carry the drive, temperament, and learning ability expected of a well bred dog. Ideal placement for this litter is competitive and working gun dog homes. These pups should have the drive to make a great gun dog while possessing a great off-switch while in the home.
Both Tanner and Hazel are excellent hunt test competitors, gun dogs and companions.
--Tanner is titled as a UKC Hunting Retriever Champion, along with his AKC Master Hunter title. He lives as a house dog when he is not in training and has a calm, quiet personality. Tanner is a proven producer of high drive fox red pups.

--Hazel is a sweet female who is serious about working and retrieving. She's a wiling partner, reliable marking dog in the field, and lines well on her retrieves. One thing we like about Hazel is her reliability from day to day, she's a solid and steady retriever who's always ready to give it her best. She's hunted on pheasants every fall and also spent a season guiding in Canada.

-- Coach was an incredible dog. It is hard to put into words the legacy that he left behind both in his quality as a hunting retriever and in the pups he produced. When he was running a hunt test, our biggest job was to say his name and then take the birds when Coach brought them back! He just knew where the birds were and he'd come back from one mark and automatically line himself up for where the next bird was. He made a lot of tough tests look easy due to his great marking ability, bird sense, and drive. Coach sired great pups who reflected their sire's abilities. He passed away in 2017, but his legacy lives on. 70 lb.

-- Adelaide is a stylish chocolate female who is a lovely balance of intense drive and sensible disposition. She is always ready to work, whether doing handling drills in the yard, marking ducks in the marsh, or chasing down pheasants in the upland fields. At home, Adelaide is quiet and sensible, and the kids love to play with her in the yard. 60 lb. Addy is from our GRHRCH UH Mo MH X River breeding, a littermate to GRHRCH(3) Bolt.

by earning some of the top retriever titles available in the hunt test arenas. We health screen each of our dogs for Hips, Elbows, and Eyes, in addition to several genetic tests like EIC and CNM. Individual information can be found on their pages.
In our program, we search for top field titled stud dogs, with pedigrees that back up their accomplishments and drive. Having personally trained each of our own retrievers equips us with intimate knowledge of each dog's strengths, weaknesses, and abilities, and supports us in finding the perfect cross for each female. In regards to size, we intend to produce a medium sized retriever averaging in the 55-75 lb range.
Placing our pups in
working hunt test or gun dog homes is important to us. If you are
purchasing solely as a pet, be fully aware that these pups
are bred to be energetic working dogs, and while they are great with
people, these pups will need a job to do as an outlet for their
energy. In other words, you should expect a busy pup with energy
that will need time and training.
From planning and preparations, to puppy-rearing and finding good homes, each litter is an investment of our time, and we go to great lengths to provide you with the happy and healthy pup you're looking for. We are on call at all times should you have questions or concerns along the way. We'd love to keep contact with you after you've taken your new puppy home as well, so that we too can share in the joy of watching them achieve greatness at home and in the field. Guarantee: Our puppies come with a 26 Month written Hip, and Eye Guarantee, 1st shots, vet checked, AKC registration applications, and they are current on their deworming.
Reservation: To reserve a puppy, we require a $200 deposit which is non-refundable. We accept payment online via Paypal or Venmo, or through regular mail by personal check/money order. At pickup, we accept cash or online payment with Paypal or Venmo.
Shipping: We highly recommend using a ground delivery service. The cost is dependent on the shippers availability and schedule, and as you can understand, there is a wide range depending on your location. As of this year, deliveries generally range around $400 in the Midwest, rising to $600-$1000 going to the west coast or deep south.
Pickup: When each litter is born, we will select a pick up date approximately 7 weeks from then that each of the pups will need to be picked up on. If you are unable to come on that particular date, or if your pup will be shipped, then the pup will be chosen for you based on the specifications that you are looking for in your pup. You may pick your puppy up at a later arranged time.
Regarding Silver Labs: We do not support Silver labradors, and will not knowingly sell our dogs or puppies to anyone associated with or supportive of silver labrador breeding.
